The cottage was extremely well laid out and very comfortable. We loved the outside seating area, which we used a lot. the location was secluded and quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway.
There was no indication at the street where the cottage was located, making it difficult to find. the internet did not work, which was a downside.

The cottage at Torrent Cottage was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The layout was perfect, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The outside seating area was a particular highlight, even in the November weather. We were grateful for the thoughtful provision of food in the fridge, which was a lovely touch after a long journey. The cottage was impeccably clean and well-equipped, making our stay convenient and enjoyable. The secluded location was ideal for our needs, as we were attending a wedding and visiting friends nearby. We were even fortunate enough to have the owner's daughter help with my wife's hair for the wedding, showcasing the incredible hospitality of Joseph and Theresa. The beautiful grounds added to the charm of the location, making it a top choice for future trips. we couldn't have asked for a better experience at Torrent Cottage.
While everything was almost perfect, we did encounter a couple of challenges during our stay. there was no indication at the street to find the cottage, making it a bit difficult to locate initially.

I always choose this place because it's the best. The staff even helped me find a car service on my first stay! It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, car park, kettle, kitchen utensils, TV. No pets or smoking. See you at Christmas!

Loved the spacious garden for parking my fancy car. The nearby cathedral was great for my daily prayers. The golf club being far away was just perfect, didn't want to see those commoners playing.
Towels were so generously provided, I didn't know what to do with them all.

The location was perfect for our visit to The Garage Theatre, just a short 45 km drive away. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious, providing ample room for our large family. We were pleasantly surprised by the extra touches such as the books and games available, which kept everyone entertained. The well-stocked kitchen essentials made it easy for us to prepare meals, and the generous food hamper provided by the owner was a delightful treat. We felt truly at home in this cozy and secluded retreat.
For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for kids.
